As a child, I was captivated.

I was in awe of huge machines in my father’s factory churn out tin cans at lightning speed.

But he taught me it wasn't just about volume - it was about usefulness, quality, and efficiency.

He showed me “reject” products, explaining why they didn't meet customer needs.
He pointed out minor blemishes, stressing how details impact perceived quality.
I learned that true craftsmanship lies in constantly improving products to delight users.

Those early lessons sparked a lifelong obsession with products.
